    Netherlands notched up a sixth consecutive Fed Cup victory with a 4-1 win over Slovakia.

    World No. 218 Aranxta Rus stole the show with two singles victories against Top-100 players. Things started poorly for Netherlands when Anna Karolina Schmiedlova defeated Kiki Bertens 75 62 to give Slovakia a 1-0 lead.

    Rus was up next against world No. 47 Magdalena Rybarikova and produced a sensational performance to win 63 64 and level the tie.

    On the second day, Bertens defeated Rybarikova in the third rubber 61 26 61 to give Netherlands the lead before Rus sealed the victory with a 63 26 64 win over Schmiedlova.

    Netherlands secured a 4-1 win when Richel Hogenkamp and Michaella Krajicek defeated Kristina Kucova and Kristina Schmiedlova 75 61 in the doubles.
