    Switzerland eased into the World Group play-offs with a 3-1 win over Sweden.

    Swiss No. 1 Timea Bacsinszky had a tough opening set against world No. 222 Rebecca Peterson but won it 7-4 in a tiebreak, before sweeping through the second set for a 76(4) 60 win and a 1-0 lead in the tie.

    17-year-old Belinda Bencic had no difficulty taking out Swedish No. 1 Johanna Larsson 61 62 to give Switzerland a 2-0 lead.

    Bacsinszky then sealed victory for the Swiss with a 63 76(5) win over Larsson. The swedish won the dead doubles rubber as a consolation with Larsson and Peterson defeateding Viktorija Golubic and Xenia Knoll 57 62 [10-5].
