OSTRAVA, CZECH REPUBLIC: The Czech team are hopeful that the vociferous home crowd in the CEZ Arena will left their side to victory in the Fed Cup by BNP Paribas World Group semifinals against Italy.

World No. 3 Petra Kvitova, who has been working on her fitness in Turkey for the past two weeks, reveals that her father has bought 100 tickets for the tie, with the family home being only 30 minutes away from Ostrava.

The Italians know they face a difficult battle - with skipper Corrado Barazzutti calling it one of the toughest ties he can remember. Sara Errani, who is scheduled to play in all three rubbers, hopes to continue her good form in 2012, while team-mate Francesca Schiavone hopes to kickstart her year.
