BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA: Paula Ormaechea made a mockery of her rankings differential with Johanna Larsson and, inspired by the vociferous home crowd, won the first point for the host nation in their World Group II first round tie.

Here she speaks of her emotions and how she hopes the momentum will carry her team forward.

Florencia Molinero speaks of her pride of earning a win over a Top 50 player at the first attempt and Argentina's captain Bettina Fulco tells us how proud she is of her players, how pleased she is that their tactics paid off and gives us her thoughts on tomorrow's play.

Sweden's captain Lars-Anders Wahlgren thinks his players will bounce back tomorrow now that they are used to the atmosphere.

Shorter and easier: just call him Max. He was a sports writer for La Nacion newspaper for 16 years before starting doing research for ESPN, consulting for the Argentine Tennis Association and writing for international publications. Max has travelled the American continent to cover football, until tennis – a life-time passion – had him wandering though the pathways of Grand Slams and Davis Cup ties. Most exciting thing? Packing for the next trip.
