BERN, SWITZERLAND: Romina Oprandi and Stefanie Voegele combined to push Switzerland through to the the World Group play-offs with their victories on Sunday.

In the first of Sunday's rubbers Oprandi overcame Yanina Wickmayer 62 62, and Voegele followed up with victory over Alison van Uytvanck 62 76(4).

It was Oprandi's second win of the weekend after she overcame Kirsten Flipkens 63 63 in the second rubber of the opening day to draw Switzerland level.

Van Uytvanck was a late replacement for Kirsten Flipkens and Voegele found out just 10 minutes before her match of the change "I just tried to concentrate on myself, for me it is best."

Switzerland will learn of its opponent in the World Group Play-off draw on 13 February, while Belgium face a World Group II relegation play-off. Both play-off ties will take place on 20-21 February.
