The USTA has announced that single-day tickets are now available for the 2014 Fed Cup by BNP Paribas World Group first round tie between USA and Italy at the Public Auditorium in Cleveland on 8-9 February.
Due to high demand, capacity has increased at the Public Auditorium and additional tickets for the Saturday or Sunday session will be sold for $25 per day.

The best-of-five match series begins Saturday, February 8, with two singles matches, featuring each country’s No. 1 player against the other country’s No. 2 player.
Sunday’s schedule features two reverse singles matches, when the No. 1 players square off and the No. 2 players meet, followed by a doubles match.
Play on Saturday begins at 1pm local time and play on Sunday begins at 12noon local. A revised schedule for Sunday may take place if a team wins in the third or fourth match. The winner of this match will advance to face either Spain or the Czech Republic in the semifinals on 19-20 April.
Ohio will be hosting Fed Cup for the first time. The tie will be led by US Fed Cup captain and Cleveland resident Mary Joe Fernandez.
Davis Cup, the men’s equivalent to Fed Cup, was hosted in Cleveland 10 times between 1960 and 1979, including the 1973 Davis Cup Final at the Public Auditorium, where the US lost to Australia.
This match will mark the fourth meeting between the US and Italy in the last six years. While Italy has won the last three match-ups, the US leads the overall series 9-3. The US last defeated Italy in 2003.
