Draw made for 2013 Fed Cup

PARIS, FRANCE: The draw for the 2013 Fed Cup by BNP Paribas World Group and World Group II was made at Roland Garros on 6 June at 12 noon. The first round ties will be played on 9-10 February.

The 2011 Fed Cup finalists, Czech Republic and Serbia, are the top two seeds in next year's World Group first round and they've both received a home draw in the first round. The Czechs will host Australia and the Serbs will meet Slovak Republic.

The other two seeds in the World Group will also play at home. Italy will host USA, who are back in Fed Cup's top division after a one-year absence, and Russia will take on newly promoted Japan.
