STUTTGART, GERMANY: Czech Republic's Iveta Benesova reflects on her comeback victory over Sabine Lisicki to give the visitors a surprise 1-0 victory over Germany.

The lefthander credited her serve for the victory and reasoned that both players found the going difficult in the early stages of the match due to the added pressure of playing for their country.

Petra Kvitova discusses her tightly fought match against Julia Goerges and Petr Pala talks of his pride for his two singles players on day one. Goerges and German captain Barbara Rittner also look ahead to tomorrow where they hope to overcome a 2-0 deficit.
