Israel will compete in Europe/Africa Zone Group I for the sixth consecutive year in 2015.

Israel lost their opening tie of Europe/Africa Zone Group I against Ukraine 3-0 but won their remaining two round-robin ties to finish second in their pool. Julia Glushko encountered a tough week as Israel's opening singles player losing all three rubbers she played but Shahar Peer was able to turn the tide against Austria and Slovenia. Ofri Lankri and Keren Shlomo came in for the positional play-off against Hungary which they lost 2-1 to finish 7th overall.
Israel contested the World Group for the only time in 2008. Prior to 2007, the Israelis had never reached World Group II or above, falling in the play-offs in 2001 and 2003.
